Man Utd Transfers Failure: 10 Deals Moyes Should Have Made

9. Arturo Vidal - Juventus

Another central midfielder just shows the current state of the Manchester United midfield. The fans hate seeing Tom Cleverley play, they just know Shinji Kagawa won't be able to knock Wayne Rooney out of the starting line-up and is not effective enough on the left. And many believe Marouane Fellaini will never be able to justify his hefty price-tag and do anything to assist Manchester United in capturing the Premier League crown. Arturo Vidal of Juventus is one of the finest midfielders around and certainly one of the greatest box-to-box midfielders in the game. For Manchester United Vidal would be the perfect signing, the ability to go forward and assist with the goals as well as going back to help the defence which again is a massive problem right now. So it comes as no surprise that his brilliant traits have given him the nickname 'The Warrior'. It is his unique collection of skills in the midfield area which set him aside from players in different positions and gives him more of an overall impact in a match than a striker for example. He can provide any club with a lot more than any other player in any other position and would provide much greater value to any team, let alone Manchester United so if David Moyes wants to keep his job past next season, he needs to enquire for the Chilean midfielder.
