Man Utd Transfers Failure: 10 Deals Moyes Should Have Made
7. Paul Pogba - Juventus
For Paul Pogba leaving Manchester United for Juventus in 2012 was truly a blessing in disguise. There was a lot of hype surrounding Paul Pogba during his youth days at Manchester United but through no fault of his own he failed to make his mark in the first team. Juventus made an incredible signing by snapping up the 20-year-old and now the youngster is one of the greatest young players in the world today. So it comes as no surprise that David Moyes was linked with bringing the French International back to Old Trafford. Of course it is easier said than done. Would Pogba want to return to Manchester United? The club that failed to give him enough opportunities in the starting line-up and he took his excellent playing style elsewhere whilst Manchester United were made to suffer. Much like his Juventus compatriot Arturo Vidal, Pogba can operate in both the defence and attack through his midfield position and certainly makes an impact in all three areas. Creative, powerful and skilful, Pogba is the perfect player David Moyes could have signed in the January transfer window and with evident interest, Moyes should not have waited to make his move. He could have helped with Manchester United's defensive woes and the creativeness in midfield, and we know he knows how to score his fair share of goals in spectacular fashion. Missing out on Pogba will probably be one of Moyes' greatest mistakes, a player packed with potential could have provided so much and eased the pressure.
