The Dutchman has failed to find the net in his last nine appearances in the United colours his longest ever barren spell in front of goal. But he will be buoyed by the three goals he bagged for Holland whilst on international duty last month, and seeing his deflected strike bag all three points at Sunderland last week. In the fit again Vincent Kompany, he comes up against one of the best defenders in world football, and the big Belgian will we looking to reassert himself in the league after having been out for two months through injury. City have missed Kompany in recent weeks, and his return will undoubtedly provide the team with a massive boost as well as a commanding physical presence.
