1. Wayne Rooney v Joe Hart
Whilst Wayne Rooney hasnt exactly been at his prolific best this season, the England striker still has a decent 16 goals in 31 club appearances to his name, and will be looking to add to that tally come Monday night. The striker was a doubt for United after picking up a groin injury on international duty which forced him out of Uniteds 1-0 victory over Sunderland last weekend, but he has been back in training and should be fit for the match come Monday. And if Uniteds front man wants to add to his goal haul for the season, he will have to make it past fellow international team-mate Joe Hart. The City keeper has not covered himself in much glory over the course of their campaign, conceding some soft goals and looking decidedly less confident at times than he did between the posts last season. However despite the criticisms, Hart has kept a respectable 14 clean sheets so far this season, and will be looking to do so again to deny United the chance to go 18 points clear at the top of the Premier League. Who do you think will emerge victorious come Monday night? Are there any battles you think will be even more crucial? Sound off in the comments below!
