Top goal scorer in Ligue 1 this season, netting 29 times for Lyon in 35 appearances, which saw Lyon lead the table for much of the year. They eventually lost out to PSG at the death, but more than a few players will come away with glory heaped on them.

None more so than Alexandre Lacazette. He has been Lyon's outstanding player, and has stepped up following Bafetimbi Gomis' move to Swansea City, eclipsing his former team mate by bagging goal after goal all season.

He was looking for a move to a Champions League team last summer, and Liverpool passed up the opportunity to sign the French hit man, and now Lacazette has brought the Champions League to himself. It could be Manchester United's turn to put in a big bid for the Frenchman, and get one over their Merseyside rivals.

Lacazette seems destined for the Premier League sooner rather than later, and whichever team he goes to are guaranteed goals for their money. Lacazette is the epitome of low risk, high reward.
