Chelsea will be desperate for a win in their 3pm kick-off against Swansea this afternoon and trying to forget their loss to Man Utd last weekend as they were beaten 3-1 at Old Trafford. A positive to take out of the game for Blues boss Andre Villa-Boas was that Fernando Torres scored and looked a threat throughout the game. A Super Sunday defeat is always hard to take but they should realistically be getting a win over Swansea which would push them closer to the top 2 Man City and Man Utd. However, they did beat Fulham in midweek in a League Cup tie which will boost their confidence up a little bit more. Swansea will be heading into this game also full of confidence as they picked up a comfortable 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion last week. Before that match, they hadn't scored a goal in the Premier League but thanks to former Chelsea forward Scott Sinclair penalty kick, Leroy Lita header and a Nathan Dyer volley they were able to scrap that stat. Many have Brendan Rodgers' team tipped to lose this game at the Bridge for obvious reasons but Swansea are more than capable of causing an upset. The Swans suffered a horrid beating on the opening day of the season away to high flying Man City as they lost 4-0 but since that defeat they have bounced back well and are currently 14th in the league table.
