Moussa Sissoko "Happy" For Steve McClaren But Admits He Knows Nothing About Next Newcastle Boss

You've never heard of the "Wally with the Brolly", Moussa?

Steve McClaren is expected to be named the next permanent Newcastle United head coach imminently and Moussa Sissoko has revealed he is "happy" for the Englishman - even if he doesn't "know anything" about the ex-Derby County boss. The Magpies have been looking for a permanent successor to Alan Pardew ever since the Londoner left for Crystal Palace at the turn of the year and it now appears as if they have finally settled on McClaren. Sacked by Derby County last month, McClaren has reportedly turned down Newcastle on two previous occasions but appears to have accepted the Magpies' third approach.
And Sissoko, who is currently at France's Clairefontaine training base ahead of France's fixtures with Belgium and Albania, said this when he was asked about McClaren's imminent arrival at St James' Park:
"I don't know anything about Steve McClaren but I'm happy for him!"
The 25-year-old 28-cap French midfielder has been linked with a move away from Newcastle, and even claimed interest from Chelsea recently, but he appears content with the appointment of McClaren to the Magpies hotseat - even if he doesn't know anything about the ex-England boss...
