NBA 2018 All Star Game: Predicting The Starters
3. East - Forward - Giannis Antetokounmpo
You may not be able to spell the name, but you better remember it!
Giannis Antetokounmpo (who from here will be referred to as Giannis for obvious reasons) is not known as The Greek Freak for nothing. For starters the guy is 6' 11", the same height as Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett and DeAndre Jordan, but plays at Small Forward. He has speed, athleticism and length like you wouldn't believe.
2017 was a year littered with achievements for Giannis; he was a first time all star, voted on both the All-NBA Second Team and the NBA All-Defensive Team and was also named Most Improved Player. This was well deserved as Giannis exploded onto the NBA radar and took the league by storm.
Last season he added invaluable Playoff experience which will only serve to improve him as a player, and the man is only 22 years old; he will only get better and better next season.
Giannis has said he is aiming at the MVP trophy next season, and while it is great to see such ambition from a young player, he may find himself disappointed at the end of the year. But a starting spot in the all star game in February isn't a bad consolation.
