New Man City Manager: 5 Replacements For Roberto Mancini

1. Pep Guardiola

Guardiola Pep Guariola quit his beloved Barcelona last summer to take a sabbatical from football, but that break didn't take long apparently. A FIFA agent no less has claimed the Spaniard has agreed a preliminary agreement to take over as Man City manager next summer. If City were in the market for a new manager, Guariola would be the obvious choice. He has one of the best résumés in world football with two Champions League wins to his name along with two UEFA Super Cup's and 2 FIFA Club World Cup Championships. Perhaps an ominous sign that this appointment might be in the pipeline is City's appointment of former Barcelona executive Txiki Begiristain as their director of football in October. Talk about laying the groundwork. Source(s): Daily Mail
