A pretty quiet evening from the Dutchman as a lot of his work down United's right was taken up by Moussa Sissoko, while the team as a whole, especially in the second half, focussed most of their attentions on United's left and the hugely impressive Rolando Aarons. He did have one opportunity to break the deadlock as he found himself one-on-one with the Sacramento keeper, choosing to square the ball and seeing the move peter out into nothing instead of taking the shot on himself. Janmaat did do his bit though, turning all Danny Simpson-esque to lift the ball away from The Magpies' goal when Sacramento looked destined to score. Certainly more to come from the Dutchman however.
