A bit of a frustrating evening for Ginger Jack, who was forced to fill in at left back for a spell following Haidara's red card. That, and because the pitch was bone dry, meaning he couldn't help to get any Newcastle passing sequences into full flight. And on top of all that, the skipper was blatantly elbowed in the face which the referee, who had already sent The Magpies' left back walking by then, conveniently missed. It was 'one of those nights' for Colback.
