For a right-back to be joint-highest assist taker for Newcastle United proves two things: how brilliant a season (up until March) Daryl Janmaat had; and how poor the Magpies were in attack. Jack Colback also contributed six assists as the midfielder enjoyed an impressive first campaign on Tyneside having made the short trip from Wearside on a free transfer last summer.
