11. 30 - Players Used By Newcastle Across All Competitions During The Season

Newcastle United used 30 players across three competitions during 2014-15 - including three goalkeepers, eight defenders, an astonishing 15 midfielders and four forwards. In fact, a lot of those players were actually used in a variety of positions - with midfielders Ryan Taylor and Vurnon Anita in particular regularly appearing in defence. Alongside the familiar players used in the Premier League, the likes of Lubomir Satka and Callum Roberts were also given first-team opportunities in the cups. All of the players used during 2014-15 are listed below: Goalkeepers: Tim Krul, Jak Alnwick, Rob Elliot. Defenders: Daryl Janmaat, Massadio Haidara, Mike Williamson, Fabricio Coloccini, Paul Dummett, Steven Taylor, Lubomir Satka, Davide Santon. Midfielders: Jack Colback, Cheick Tiote, Moussa Sissoko, Remy Cabella, Sammy Ameobi, Gabriel Obertan, Jonas Gutierrez, Ryan Taylor, Yoan Gouffran, Haris Vuckic, Mehdi Abeid, Rolando Aarons, Siem de Jong, Vurnon Anita, Callum Roberts. Forwards: Emmanuel Riviere, Adam Armstrong, Papiss Cisse, Ayoze Perez.
