4. Tony Jantschke
Jantschke made his debut for Borussia Monchengladbach just under 4 years ago and has only managed 42 league appearances in that time but since Lucien Favre took over the German club he has put in some impressive performances at right back. The German has played at every youth level for the national team and last season was a mainstay when 'Gladbach almost qualified for the Champions League (they lost in the qualifying round). Aged just 22 and versatile hed be an astute acquisition for anywhere around £5 million. The Magpies have only dipped into the German market once before with Papiss Cisse which was a storming success but Carr and his team of scouts had been monitoring Cisse ever since he played for French club Metz FC and it remains to be seen if weve been looking for German talent specifically, if they have then Jantschke must be on their radar. http://youtu.be/Dln2rQLrMOk
