Newcastle: 5 Reasons Why Alan Pardew Will Be Sacked In November

4. Another Season Of Failings?

Since 2011-12, one could make the argument that Newcastle have only gone backwards under Alan Pardew. The fifth-placed finish that term was an incredible feat, and one that earned Pardew the Premier League Manager of the Season Award, becoming the first ever Magpies boss to be bestowed with said honour. Since then, the North East side have been on the slide. The 2012-13 season almost brought another relegation and oblivion from the topflight, while things aren't looking much rosier this time round, either. You have to question whether Pardew has taken this Newcastle side as far as they can go under his stewardship, for those lofty successes last May now feel like a distant memory. Owner Mike Ashley must now decide whether to continue sticking with a manager who has failed to take this club forward in the past 17 months.
