Newcastle: 5 Reasons Why Alan Pardew Will Be Sacked In November
5. The Poor Run Of Form
The defeat to Sunderland at the weekend wasn't the only poor result Newcastle have endured this season. One glance at the Magpie's recent run of games will tell you they have won a mere six of their last 18 matches, which would be sack-able form anywhere else. The chastising 4-0 crushing by Manchester City shows all is not well at the North East club, and while fans will point out this was a game Pardew's side were never likely to win anyway, surely more was expected from fixtures against the weaker teams in the division. There are little to no excuses for the 3-2 home defeat to newly-promoted Hull City last month, while the loss at Everton, which saw Newcastle go in 3-0 down at half-time, typified the club's plight. Last season, Newcastle lost ten out of 12 matches as they flirted dangerously with relegation, and they look ready to emulate that terrible run this season - unless changes are made.
