Newcastle Transfer News: Tom Ince To Sign From Cabaye Sale Proceeds?

Mirror. Pardew, whose only signing so far this summer has been Loic Remy on loan from QPR, has made checks on the Blackpool winger and is convinced he is the right player for his side. The Magpies are prepared to match the Seasider's £8 million valuation of the 21-year-old, who rejected a move to Cardiff earlier this summer despite his club agreeing a fee with the Welsh outfit. Spurs are also keen on Ince, but are hoping Blackpool lower their asking price. However, now that Pardew has cash freed up following the likely sale of Cabaye, Tottenham find that they suddenly have competition for the starlet. Ince's father and manager Paul wants his son to go to a club where he will get regular playing time and that could be more likely at St James' Park than at White Hart Lane, where Spurs have just signed winger Nacer Chadli. Pardew will eventually sell unsettled Cabaye who, along with Arsenal, has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, and will reinvest the income into a team that was thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City on Monday.
