Linked By: Football League World (Via) Having already been linked once with the young Leeds defender in the run up to the League Cup game against the Yorkshiremen last season, Newcastle have again been apparently looking at the player. According to Football League World, the Magpies had scouts at Carrow Road to watch him this season, a game in which he impressed. He's a right-back, though is versatile, and would presumably be identified as back-up and competition to Daryl Janmaat. Chances? Well, he's young, he's versatile and he's English, but he's not exactly experienced, and there's apparently talk that Arsenal have looked at him as well. If he was to come in, he'd likely go back to Leeds on loan, though you'd have to wonder what his signing would mean for the long-term future of Janmaat, and where Ryan Taylor is destined to play.
