Another Manchester United player who could be on the market this summer is Javier Hernandez. United boss Louis van Gaal is planning an aforementioned cull of his side now that their pre-season sour of the United States is over and Hernandez has been one of those names tipped to leave. Used sparingly by both the Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes administrations, 'Chicharito' only played three full games last season, according to Squawka stats, and could be looking for more frequent playing time in 2014-15. Newcastle were linked with a move for the Mexican striker last January, and he is on their radar again this summer. Though Hernandez has had limited opportunities at United, when he does play he is one of the best poachers in the game, and scored nine goals in all competitions last season. With his position at Old Trafford unclear, Newcastle should attempt to sway 'Little Pea' to the north east and the guarantee of week-to-week playing time in the Premier League could be enough to persuade the instinctive forward to move on.
