Ba might have grumbled a lot and forced Alan Pardew to change his tactical approach when Papiss Cisse came in and scored so many goals while he was pushed to the right of a front three, but he's still capable of scoring goals and that's all the matters. If he's available reasonably cheaply and he scores the 10 goals that help push the Magpies into the top ten, then he'll be worth the outlay, unquestionably. But you might as well wish for the moon.
