One youngster that seems to have slipped under the radar of chief scout Graham Carr is Barcelona B winger Adama Traore.

Direct, strong, powerful and frighteningly quick, Traore is built for the Premier League. He also fits in perfectly with Mike Ashley’s model of signing young players with potential sell on value, so why not?

The Spaniard is hardly a player lacking in confidence either, he completed more dribbles than any other player in Europe last season (243) and could potentially become a nightmare for Premier League defenders.

Despite plying his trade in the Spanish second division, he has made four appearances in La Liga and is clearly rated by Barcelona, who are looking for a loan deal or a permanent with a buyback clause.

Some reports claim that Traore has already held talks with Stoke City about a possible move to The Britannia, so the Newcastle hierarchy would have to move quickly to capture this exciting young talent.
