Newcastle Transfers: 8 Reasons Rolando Aarons MUST Stay
3. His Value On The Pitch Is Enormous
This is probably a sticking point for the club, but they have the luxury of knowing that Aarons cost them nothing aside from development costs, and that he is the kind of prodigiously talented player who could help the side cement those long-suggested long-term goals of reaching top four contention. It's always been a pipe dream, even though Pardew's side almost realised it not so long ago - but with players like Aarons who have the ability to change games, and who have their future stretching well ahead of them, the Magpies could mount an unlikely challenge in years to come. We're constantly told that Newcastle cannot compete with buying clubs for top talents, and have to be smart in the transfer market, but that counts doubly if they continue to be a selling club forever. In business terms, the latter is far greater than the former, so let's just hope they're paying attention.
