Newcastle's Final-Day Premier League Results - How Have They Fared?

5. Newcastle United 3-3 West Bromwich Albion (22/05/11) - DREW

After a season outside of the top flight, Newcastle hosted West Bromwich Albion - who had also just been promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking - in May 2011 at St James' Park. Alan Pardew had replaced Chris Hughton as Magpies boss in December - and Newcastle threw away a ninth-place finish by letting a three-goal lead slip. They instead ended down in 12th place. Steven Taylor, Peter Lovenkrands and a Jonas Olsson own goal have put the Magpies 3-0 up after 47-minutes, but Somen Tchoyi scored a sensational hat-trick in the final 28 minutes to grab a point for the Baggies.
