Newcastle's Top-10 Summer Striking Targets Ranked By Goals-Per-Game Ratio
5. Aleksandar Mitrovic - 0.44 (69 in 158)
2014-15 GOALSCORING RATIO: 0.55 (28 GOALS IN 51 GAMES) One of the hottest prospects in Europe right now, Mitrovic has set about significantly improving his career goalscoring ration in recent seasons. The 13-cap Serbia international has netted 69 times in 158 career appearances to date, meaning he has a scoring ratio of 0.44 strikes per game (for Teleoptik, Partizan Belgrade and Anderlecht). However, in 2014-15, Mitrovic returned 28 goals from 51 matches - giving him an astonishing average scoring ratio of 0.55 strikes per game, more than one every other appearance. True Anderlecht reportedly want an eye-catching £15 million for a 20-year-old who has yet to feature in the Premier League, but Mitrovic has Champions League experience and he looks the real deal. But will Newcastle really part with that sort of cash for someone from the Belgian league?
