One Player That Would Improve Every Premier League Team Next Season

Under Pep Guardiola, Manchester City have become widely regarded as one of the best teams to ever grace the Premier League. It is hard to find much fault with this team. But if there was one place to look it would be at the back.

At centre-back in particular City have become overly reliant on Aymeric Laporte, and anyone (outside of a rapidly aging Fernandinho) who has partnered him has often disappointed. The one criticism that can really be levelled at City's defence is that it lacks power, that would be swiftly changed with the purchase of Senegalese powerhouse Kalidou Koulibaly.

The centre-back would add a strength and physicality to a City backline in dire need of it. In terms of his fit to City, Koulibaly has spent years as an undroppable cog in a Napoli side often discussed as one of the most dynamic and exciting in Serie A. With players like Stones and Otamendi proving to be consistently unreliable, Koulibaly could finally be City's rock at the back.
