One Player That Would Improve Every Premier League Team Next Season

Not for the first time recently, Everton are coming off the back of an extremely underwhelming campaign and question marks will once again be raised about the club's recruitment. The team looks shorn of balance and the decision to sell Idrissa Gueye to PSG has unsurprisingly come back to haunt them.

Schalke's USA international Weston McKennie could well be the answer to some of their troubles. McKennie is a box-to-box defensive midfielder who could finally help Everton to achieve that elusive balance. On paper, there is enough attacking talent at the club to push further up the table next season and McKennie would not only add to that talent with a penchant for forward thinking passes and driving runs but he would also help protect an often nervy back four.

McKennie is equally adept destroying and creating in the middle of the park, and looks capable of the step up. He could prove to be a vital piece for this on-going Everton puzzle.
