PFA's Probable Team Of The Season 2019/20
2. Right Back - Trent Alexander-Arnold
Is there even a debate here? Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back in the world by miles. Period. He may be just 21, but possesses the kind of skill set that would put even the most seasoned full-backs to shame.
He has participated in every game thus far, missing altogether just 60 minutes of action, and laid 12 assists, thereby becoming the first ever player in the Premier League to make 10+ assists in consecutive years. And he ranks behind only Kevin De Bruyne and James Maddison in terms of chances created.
Incredibly fast, powerful and hard working, the Reds star is always seen driving forward and linking up effectively with his attacking cohorts, while his set-piece delivery is top-notch too.
Alexander-Arnold is revolutionizing the role of a full-back and its hard to imagine anyone else but him winning the best young player award too.
