After a few troubling years in and out of the Sunderland team due to injury and just struggling to find a position he can commit to, Emanuele Giaccherini could well have his breakthrough season in the Premier League this year. He's refused moves abroad so he can prove himself in England, and despite being very small, he's awfully feisty on the field, makes himself a nuisance and could maybe get a reputation as a super-sub.
