Premier League: 10 Things We Learnt From Opening Weekend
5. Manchester City Have An Abundance Of Attacking Talent
Ok Ok, so on paper we already knew this, but after their performance against a good Premier League team in Newcastle we are now sure that Man City have a lot of options in their attacking positions. They ripped the Toon a new one, even when they made substitutes such as Samir Nasri and Negredo we didnt see them let off the gas. Im tipping them to be this years top scorers, although Pellegrinis teams are known to ship a few in the other end too.
4. Ian Holloway Will Never Change
Before his Crystal Palace season kicked off Holloway gave an interview in which he stated he was going to change the way he acted around the media in order to gain more credibility as a manger. Fast forward to two days after his first game and Holloway is charged for his behaviour towards match officials after his sides defeat to Tottenham. Hands up, who is a little bit happy inside to have the old Holloway back? I know I am.
