7. Everton
Everton are ultra consistent under the guidance of David Moyes. In the past five seasons they have never finished outside the top eight and I don't see it happening this time around regardless of their financial situation. Astute signings of Steven Naismith and Steven Pienaar have been offset with the losses of Tim Cahill and Jack Rodwell. Left back Baines, midfielder Fellaini and forward Jelavic have been linked with big moves away but if Moyes can make it through this window with them still in the group then I don't see why he can't challenge for Europe. With Rodwell and Cahill leaving it does open up the centre of the midfield a little bit but this could be the chance for someone like Ross Barkley to break into the first team. There has been a lot of talk around the Everton youth academy about the 18 year old and if he is indeed as high a prospect as Wayne Rooney was then Everton fans will have something to look forward to even if it is only until their financial need means selling off another asset.
