Club: Manchester City Toure, who recently landed the African Player Of The Year award for the third consecutive time, is having yet another outstanding Premier League campaign for Man City, and this season he has added something else to his game deadly free kick taking. Toure's appearance on the pitch is deceiving: you'd be forgiven for thinking that the Ivorian is perhaps slow and clumsy - it's what his body language suggests - but the reality is that Toure's game has just about everything. He's strong, quick, has great vision and awareness, excellent passing ability and is now an accomplished goalscorer. Not bad for a defensive midfielder, whose only tough game so far has been against Newcastle when forced to deal with compatriot Cheick Tiote. Without Toure in the starting line-up, City just aren't the same: he forms part of the 'spine' of the team, and without him City just don't look complete. Blues fans can only hope that the recent speculation about a possible move to PSG is false, as he is one of those few player who is truly irreplaceable.
