6. Mario Balotelli
This might be seen as a harsh inclusion into the list, however I think that if you look at the stats, it is blatantly clear that Balotelli has had a very disappointing season so far. Last season, despite all the "Why Always Me," controversy, Balotelli's goalscoring record was in fact, very fruitful indeed. Last season he made 14 Premier League appearances for Manchester City and amassed an impressive 13 goals in the process. However, this season, much to Mancini's disappointment, he has only scored one goal in the 14 appearances he has made for the Blues. He has n0w cemented himself as 4th choice striker at the Etihad, behind the likes of Aguero, Tevez and Edin Dzeko. Perhaps more to the annoyance of Mancini, it seems like Balotelli has not managed to mature off the field either. A recent training ground bust up with Mancini seems to be his last rites as a City player as it is becoming an impossible task for Mancini to nurture his hidden, but prodigious talent.
