13. David Silva - Man City
Don't get me wrong, David Silva is a world-class player: his creativity, vision and skilful technique are second to none, and for this reason he was one of the best players of the year last season, if not the best. Last year, he was the driving force behind all of Manchester City's successes and had an impressive tally of 21 assists to show for it. Now for some reason, this season Silva has not become the influential, domineering player that guided City to their first title in 44 years. He's played 20 games so far, with only 3 goals and an even more frightening stat, he has only made 3 assists. He's no longer producing that creative spark that set him apart from every other player last season and now he frequently looks lost and anonymous on the turf of the Etihad. Mancini will need Silva to re-assert his form from last year, if City have any chance of toppling United for the title.
