Premier League: 15 Most Disappointing Players Of The Season So Far

12. Aaron Ramsey - Arsenal

It's sad to say this, but Aaron Ramsey hasn't looked anywhere near the player he once was, since his career-threatening injury suffered at the hands of Ryan Shawcross back in 2010. Although I have to say, Arsene Wenger isn't exactly helping his cause by playing him horrifically out of position on the right-wing where he looks very uncomfortable. But, it is true that Ramsey does not look at ease when he's on the ball like of old, and he is giving the ball away in the midfield far too frequently and cheaply. He's played 19 Premier League games this season so far, scored none whatsoever and only made 1 assist. These aren't exactly gleaming statistics for a footballer who was expected to set the Premier League alight from a young age. Also, 11 of those 19 appearances have come from the substitutes bench, which suggests he is no longer an Arsenal first teamer, like he was expected to be a few years ago.
