Premier League's 11 Biggest Crybabies

9. Didier Drogba

Didier Drogba has just returned to the Premier League with Chelsea following a two-season spell away playing for Shanghai Shenhua and Galatasaray, and fans will be hoping he has left his shameless cheating diving in the past as he begins his second tenure in England. Throughout his first stint in the Premier League, Drogba earned a reputation as the division's biggest-ever conman, and was guilty of a series of theatrical dives as he attempted to pull the wool over the referee's eyes, including this pitiful exchange with former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, which saw the striker cry to the referee for a penalty after an innocuous challenge, throw his arms up in the air when he didn't get his way and be shoved into by Lehmann who clearly wanted him to just get on with the game. Drogba responded by shoulder-barging the keeper, who promptly threw himself to ground to complete the farcical exchange as both players were made to look like utter fools. It was a scene that belied the notion that the Premier League is the greatest league in Europe with this incident perhaps looking more at place in Italy.
