Premier League's Most Overrated Players By Position
1. ST - Marcus Rashford - Manchester United
1387820Oh how the mighty have fallen. Of course, all of this is said with the asterisk that Rashford is still young and immensely talented. That said, he has not improved as quickly or as much as we thought he might. He makes poor decisions, shoots when he should pass and vice versa, and generally is looking more like a Danny Welbeck than a Teddy Sheringham.
Rashford, much like Dele Alli, has all the markings of a future star, but he ends up being more frustrating than anything else. Like every other United player this season, he has shown moments of brilliance but they're so far and few between that they're more annoying than anything else. He's clearly capable, so why can't he do it every week?
To be really pessimistic however, it's worth noting that Rashford has scored more goals this season than ever before...10. That's hardly a monumental return for a striker, especially this season when he's played 32 games. Is Rashford a world-class striker? Definitely not right now, but he is just 21. Given that United direly need a new striker however, he may be better served going on loan next year.
