The Frenchman should have got his name on the score sheet 10 minutes into the second half but took too long before the host's defence stopped his advances. Some nice flicks and combination play with Sissoko outlined how Newcastle are going to get most of their joy, if they get any at all, against West Ham next week. Remy could have had a penalty when he was hauled to the floor by his neck, but the fact he took too many easy tumbles all afternoon more than likely counted against him. Newcastle need to see his best game in a black and white shirt next week for sure.
