After 18 hours and three minutes of Premier League football Emmanuel Riviere scored a goal. He's been praying for one of these types of goals all season as he struck the ball onto his other foot, sending it looping over the advancing Robert Green. However, too many times he was knocked off the ball, missing in action on one of the wings or just lacking in enough quality to help United's cause. Despite that, his endeavour was there for all to see and means he was one of Newcastle's better players on the day. A goal will help him ahead of next week too.
