QPR Transfers: 5 Big Players Who Will Stay In The Premier League Next Year

2. Andros Townsend

Another player that is assured Premier League squad status next season is Andros Townsend, and based on the standard of his performances since joining QPR on loan in January, he won't have too much issue getting into the Tottenham side. Since Harry Redknapp's appointment at the club, Townsend has been one of the star performers in the rocky season for the Rangers, with his blistering pace and attacking mindset have made him a positive force in a team bereft of confidence. He has attracted so much praise and performed so consistently that if he had been at the club since the start of the season rather than languishing in the Spurs reserves, they may have had more of fighting chance at the back end of the season. Tottenham are probably now regretting the decision to let him go as they stumble towards the finishing line, as his positive approach would have been a breath of fresh air to reinject their charge for the Champions League. Many believe that he fit straight into his parent club's first team when he returns, but with his positions being occupied by Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale, it may take him another season on loan to get into the Spurs team of 2014.
