Rangers Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer

10. Nathan Delfouneso

If there's one thing Rangers have struggled with this season, it's been the speed of attacking play, so it's only natural that a fair few strikers permeate this list. The likes of Kris Boyd and Jon Daly have been miserable failures, hardly featuring at all for the blues - in the case of Boyd, it's been a surprise for fans that he has failed to find the back of the net regularly, given that he did so routinely for Kilmarnock with less service. Nonetheless, even if both men had been on their game, they're hardly the quickest players around. That's where Nathan Delfouneso could come into proceedings. Far from the most accomplished player in the English game, Delfouneso still has pace to burn, and good energy about his play. Recently released by Blackpool, the striker represents an enticing prospect. Sure, he never really caught fire during spells with Aston Villa, Leicester, Coventry or Blackpool, but he's still only 24 years of age, and could be the youthful impetus that Rangers need up front. It's obvious to anyone watching that Kenny Miller doesn't quite have the same speed he once did, so Delfouneso could be a nice option. Better yet, he'd be free.
