Fighting as an amateur since 2010 (she went 4-0), Namajunas made her pro debut in 2013 for Invicta, and went 2-1 in the top women's MMA promotion in the world, losing only to fellow prospect and TUF 20 fighter Tecia Torres. Amongst her two wins was a flying arm bar submission, and both her victories (submissions in each case) won her Invicta's Submission of the Night award. As a result, Namajuna's upside is probably more than her record really shows, and the fact that all three of her pro fights came in Invicta is a big bonus. Still, she's likely going to need a couple of UFC fights to really "get there" - but I wouldn't be shocked if she picked up at least one win on TUF.
