Ranking The 16 Women In The Ultimate Fighter 20 Tournament

14. Alex Chambers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezT00snWJkQ Record: (4-1) Age: 35 From: Sydney, Australia "Astro Girl" had just one fight in Invicta prior to her being scooped up for The Ultimate Fighter 20, but she does have a 4-1 record as a pro. She also has one advantage (if you want to see it as such): she has fought at atomweight, so making the strawweight limit shouldn't be an issue for her. What might be an issue, however, will be size/strength, depending on how much weight she's really cutting at the end of the day. Will she be an undersized strawweight, as silly as that sounds? In an interview on UFC.com, Chambers said she wasn't concerned and was used to fighting opponents bigger than her, but with a talent pool as deep as TUF 20's, it won't be easy. Another disadvantage - she's far from home, and all of her wins, save her Invicta 5 victory, have come inside Australia. Her only loss was to Mizuki Inoue in Japan. On top of that, she hasn't fought since April of 2013, so it will be well over a year between action in the cage for Chambers. A plus - she finishes fights, and has trained with legends like Megumi Fumi. She has also competed in Karate in Japan. She might be a long shot to win the tournament, and her age (35) means she only has a small window to really go far, but as a well spoken fighter with proven skills, she has a shot to really blaze a trail for other smaller female fighters from Australia and elsewhere.
