Ranking All NUFC Premier League Goalkeepers - Worst To Best
2. Tim Krul - 120 Appearances - 2006 - Present
Debate will often rage over whether Krul has fulfilled the potential initially mapped out for him when he arrived from ADO Den Haag as a fresh faced teen in the summer of 2005. Nine years down the line the Dutchman is one of the first names on Alan Pardew's team sheet and is widely considered to be one of the Premier League's best goalkeepers after climbing through the ranks at St James' Park. Although certain facets of his game remain a bone of contention for us there is no shadow of a doubt that Krul has matured into a brilliant goalkeeper, one we're fortunate to have, and, at 26-year-old, is blessed with enough time to iron out the kinks that are preventing him from rubbing shoulders with the elite of his profession. Although we wouldn't begrudge Krul a move to a club where his talent would reap the rewards he deserves, it's nice to think he will emulate the legends that sandwich him on this list.
