Ranking The Best Football Transfers In Europe During Summer 2019/20
29. Martin Odegaard - Real Sociedad
Ever since he joined Real Madrid in 2015, there have been plenty of eyes fixed on Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian prospect looked like he had an insane amount of talent for such a young player, but there were questions on whether or not he'd be able to fulfil his potential.
It did seem like his burgeoning career was off to a rocky start due to going on consecutive loan spells. However, Madrid have actually done a fantastic job in nurturing his talent by sending him to the right teams for him to gain first team experience and hone his talent.
After spending last season at Dutch club Vitesse, Odegaard looks like a completely different player. The 20-year old has finally grown from a boy into a man and he's also improved his decision making. Everyone knows he can play a killer pass, but he's learned when to do it so he's a more effective threat.
A season at Real Sociedad in La Liga will be a gigantic help for him as he'll be able to unleash his talents in the Spanish league and prove to Real Madrid that they were right in signing him.
