Real Madrid Transfers: 5 Players They Must Sign
2. Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli)
The Guardian reported earlier this year that Napoli would consider selling skipper Lorenzo Insigne should a club come in with a £60 million offer, and that should be all the encouragement that Real Madrid need to go in for the Italy international.
Now 28 years of age, this Napoli youth product represents energy and vibrancy in the final third - more often than not coming in from the left wing.
Of course, Real Madrid this summer signed Eden Hazard to fill that left-sided role, yet signing up Insigne would offer up options for Zinedine Zidane's Los Blancos - such as allowing for Hazard to be allowed in a more central, number 10 role and allowing the Belgium star to have a more direct control over games.
14 goals in 41 goals shows that Insigne has an end product, but it's his work-rate and constant willingness to run at the opposition that would be just as important for a Real Madrid side often accused of being too plodding in their approach play during the 2018/2019 campaign.
