Is Luca Zidane merely a part of the Real Madrid first team because of his father? Because it certainly seems like it.
Luca is now 20-years-old and his talent in-between the sticks remains to be seen. He had a two-year loan spell with RM Castilla in Segunda Division B, which ran from 2016/17 through to 2017/18. Here he featured in a total of 21 games, but only managed two clean sheets.
His value is a mere £270k, which is comparable to 'keepers that languish in the lower divisons around the world. Surely a goalkeeper of that standard should not be at one of the best clubs in the world? The recent arrival of 19-year-old Andriy Lunin will probably spell the end for Zidane under Lopetegui.
