After a back- and- forth Barcelona transfer saga, Neymar has been yet again linked with a move away from PSG to another club and this time it's none other than Real Madrid.
The PSG star has made it very clear that he wants to leave the Parc Des Princess, preferring a move back to his old club Barcelona. Barcelona Vice- President Jordi Cardoner however stated that a move for Neymar can be "ruled out" at this time and this opens the door for other big clubs to swoop in for the one- time UEFA Champions League winner.
PSG are yet to receive a formal offer for Neymar but they're unlikely to sell their top star unless they're able to recoup the huge £200M they spent to acquire his services. It is also understood that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is in a close relationship with PSG counterpart Nasser Al- Khelaifi and this could further boost Real Madrid's chances of landing the Brazillian forward.
After a sub- par performance last season, Real Madrid are looking to improve their squad and also their chances of a better performance in Europe. Los Blancos have already acquired Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy this transfer window. Including Neymar to their list of bought players would be a hell of a coup for them.
