Scottish Premier League: 5 Reasons 2012/2013 Season Will Be Best Ever

3. Rangers Can't Play Against Celtic or SPL Sides For 3 years?

Eh? What? Rangers may be starting life in the Third Division and so cannot play a SPL side in a league for a few years. However, there are two other competitions called the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup which may very well throw up just such a matches. Imagine just for a minute a one off meeting between Rangers and Celtic in one of the cups instead of the four games a season slog these two serve up just now. Imagine a winner takes all game, perhaps even in a final to a packed Hampden, between Rangers and Celtic within a year. When I do, a little bit of pee pee comes out.
