Simon Grayson has landed the vacant Huddersfield Town manager's job. Reports tonight suggest the former Leeds United boss has signed a three-and-a-half deal with the club, just weeks after he was sacked at Elland Road. The Terriers have quickly appointed a replacement for Lee Clark who was surprisingly dismissed last week on the back of just three defeats all season. Grayson's task is now to guide Huddersfield into the Championship, a feat he achieved at his time with Leeds when he took them out of the division in the 2009/2010 season. Huddersfield have been close in recent seasons, enduring two play-off disappointments in the last two seasons. The Yorkshire club are currently fourth in the table, seven points behind an automatic promotion place.
