3. Theo Walcott (Arsenal)
Let's get things back to discussing a player that is currently on active duty should we say. Theo Walcott is one that has frustrated Arsenal fans in the past, everyone realises that he has fantastic ability but hasn't always made best use of that talent. That being said, it's a criticism that can be thrown at many players of his type. The good news is he seems maturing now and enjoying his season with Arsenal. He is, of course, another player that we can thank the famous Southampton academy for producing. However, he is not getting the opportunity to play for Arsenal as often as he would like this season but has been able to contribute two goals and three assists in the Premier League. Walcott excelled in the EPL towards the end of last season by scoring 14 goals and also laying on 10 assists for his team. Arsenal and England will be hoping that he can finish this season in a similar way, which could help the Gunners win the league. I think we can all safely agree that a Theo Walcott producing consistently high standard performances is some player.
